My name is Lee, your new photographer. Let me start by saying WELCOME! and I hope this is the start of a long satisfying relationship.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT LEE
I broke into the creative space when I began to be recognized with a talent for designing certificates and awards for San Diego Gas & Electric as the head of the Employee Moral committee in 2004. In that same year I decided to try my gift outside of the 9-5, and started designing print media for Terrell Fletcher Ministries as apart of the marketing team.
In 2006, I took a brochure I designed for TFM to a printer, where I was asked if I would consider a career change and work for a new company she was starting called Printing Concept. Here we designed digital and printing material to small businesses are the San Diego Area.
After working with Printing Concept for two years. I started my own company in February of 2008 called Canaan Prints, now known as Canaan Solutions, where I specialize in Web Design, Print Media and Branding.
For the next eight years I went through the roller coaster of entrepreneurship...working in almost every industry, designing web sites while collecting stock images that didn't get the full authenticity of the business I was working with. So, decided to pick up a camera.
In 2016, I started freelance shooting candid shots at birthday parties and events in the San Diego and LA Counties. I received my first paid gig when I was asked to grab some graduation moments for Dominguez Hills Africana Studies ceremony. While still learning what it means to be a professional photographer, I really committed to the craft in 2020 and invested into my equipment as well as taking online courses to upgrade my skillset.
Today, I've found a comfortable place shooting portrait lifestyle photography and live events. While there is still a ton to learn, I am absolutely in love with the art of photography and my purpose is to be the one to capture candid moments you love and will never forget.
